The Secret View Spot without Tickets

The historic Katsushika Fireworks Festival will be held again this year.

While paid seating is available, there are also spots where you can enjoy the fireworks at a relaxed pace, away from the crowds. Here, we introduce you to some secret locations where you can peacefully watch the fireworks.

Along the river near Kasai Shrine

The embankment near Kasai Shrine is an ideal spot for a relaxed and uncrowded view of the fireworks.

Head towards the shrine, find a comfortable place along the riverbank nearby, and enjoy the fireworks at your leisure.

Edogawa Riverside Golf Course (Matsudo)

The Edogawa riverside is a popular spot for photographers due to its great visibility and clear views of the fireworks.

The riverside on the Matsudo side is an excellent location for watching the fireworks. It’s not crowded, allowing you to spread out a blanket and enjoy the show at a leisurely pace.

Shinkatsushika Bridge

If you want to see the fireworks up close and clearly, this spot outside the central area is the best choice.

From the bridge, you have an unobstructed view, allowing you to fully enjoy the Katsushika fireworks. Although it’s a bit of a distance from Kanamachi Station, it’s worth the trip to avoid the crowds.
